Butterfly Park is located on Patenga Naval Academy Road in Chittagong City, Bangladesh. Established on six acres of land, the park is made up of butterfly species of live animals. It is the first butterfly garden in Bangladesh. The park has about 600 species of butterflies. In front of the main entrance are painted a huge picture of butterflies. Inside, the colorful world of butterflies is waiting for you.
This butterfly park has a tropical garden, butterfly zone, butterfly museum, butterfly rearing room, artificial lake-fountain, fish fishing zone, and butterfly feeding zone. A resort, restaurant, water ride, artificial fountain, colorful flower garden and numerous butterfly fairs in that garden. Artificial fountains will first be seen entering the park.
The ‘butterfly zone’ will be seen after crossed the artificial fountains. Here is the vast world of butterflies of different colors inside the mesh. Thousands of butterflies will invite you to their own bloom. On the tree trunk, butterflies are flying on the leaves. Butterflies of different colors can be seen in the park.
You will see many butterflies when you enter the park in the morning. But since the afternoon, the butterfly team started to leave in the bushes. That is why the daylight will come here to visit.
You will find the Butterfly Museum when you exit the butterfly zone. This is essentially a butterfly museum. Where hundreds of dead butterflies have been stored from various countries and abroad, the glass boxes on the inside have been decorated with medicine, along with various elements including the life cycle of various butterflies.
Once you get out of the butterfly museum, you’ll find a park for children’s play. The park is decorated with children’s favorite rides. And to the east of the park, there is a lake in which you can travel by boat. Various animal sculptures have been laid to decorate the park. In addition, there is a banquet center for more than five hundred people. There are more halls for organizing events.
You can also spend the night at Butterfly Park if you want. Butterfly Resort is for this. The resort can be booked at a rent of 4 to 7 thousand taka. Very well decorated resort rooms. The resort has all the modern amenities. In all, there are all the entertainment in the park.

You can go to Chittagong from Fakirapool, Saidabad, Mohakhali bus stand in Dhaka. S Alam, Shyamoli, Saudia, Unique, Hanif, Eagle, Ena, Sohag TR and other AC and non-AC buses go to Chittagong daily. Rent will be from 420 to 1100 Tk.
From the city of Chittagong, you can board a bus or a laguna in Patenga. Apart from this, you can also come in CNG operated or BabyTaxi.
