The town of Jamsam is located in the Mustang district of Nepal at an altitude of 260 m above sea level and on the banks of the Kali Gandhaki River. This city is very popular for trekking. Kali trekked along the banks of the Gandhaki river to the Muktinath temple which is known as Jamsam-Muktinath trek.
This trek can be done as part of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. It is said to be the highest snowfall city in Nepal. This is because of its proximity to the Himalayas. The people here are very hospitable. Almost everyone understands English and everyone can speak as much as they need to work.

How to get to Pokhara
Pokhara by tourist bus from Kathmandu, it will take about 6 hours, the fare will be 750 rupees. You can go by air from Pokhara, it will take about 20 minutes and the fare will be 80-110 dollars. Or you can go to Pokhara by jeep or bus. If you go by jeep, the fare will be around 1600 rupees and it will take 9-10 hours. And if you go by bus from Pokhara, it will take 12-14 hours and the fare will be around 1200 rupees. If you want you can go directly to Jamsum from Kathmandu. In that case, the journey will be a little costly. It will take 17-19 hours and the rent will be around 1600 rupees.
